I am Phaedra Lybaert, founder of O’yo Healthy Food Bar. O’yo opened its doors on November 23, 2016. There was a personal need for healthy food in catering establishments. I myself was struggling with chronic stomach disorders, although at the time it was still quite healthy, eventually my microbiota turned out to be weakened, partly because I had to take a heavy antibiotic course a few years earlier. Unfortunately, nobody tells you the importance of probiotics during and after such a course! Fortunately, I was able to cure this and other ailments thanks to the beneficial effects of fermentation and plant nutrition. It quickly became clear to me that I was not the only one struggling with lifestyle illnesses and in need of a healthier offering on the market. This is how the concept of O’yo came about, to make people more aware and to offer a healthier alternative. In the meantime, I have also become an IIN certified health coach and in this way I hope to be able to guide people even better towards a healthier lifestyle.
